Rev. Muthukumar, one of the senior faculty at New Life College, successfully completed the oral defense of his Ph.D dissertation at Dravidian University on 12th March 2012. The title of his dissertation was "Comparative Study of Religious Ethics and Ethics of Thirukkural with Special Reference to Christianity."He celebrated this milestone of completing his viva voce with the faculty members of NLC by distributing sweets. We, the NLC family, congratulated him on his accomplishment and wish him that may he scale many more achievements in the future!
He currently teaches courses related to Religion and Philosophy at NLC. He also serves as Dean of Students as well as pastors the New Life Tamil Church that meets at NLC Campus.
Rev. Muthukumar obtained his B.D from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune and has been teaching at New Life College since 2000. He also got a M. A. in Religion and Philosophy from Madurai Kamaraj University; M.Phil in Philosophy from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu; M.Th in Religions from AIT, Bangalore.
