NLC Alumni meeting was organized in Ongole Andhra Pradesh on 13th April 2012. About 15 of NLC Alumni gathered together and spent time in prayer, reflection and fellowship. Rev. Muthukumar and Rev. Biren K. Nayak went from New Life College and encouraged the alumni to continue to serve the Lord faithfully in Andhra Pradesh.Evening at 6 p.m., the alumni meeting was held in Living Evangelical Fellowship Church, Ongole. Rev. Muthu Kumar welcomed and begun the meeting with prayer. Alumni Team led the praise and worship. Rev. Biren K. Nayak encouraged all with God’s word. A video clip of Rev. Dr. JohnThannikcal was projected to them. Dr. Thannickal fondly encouraged all to remember the vision of Ashram and challenged everyone to commit the Word to others (2 Tim 2:2). Then, each alumnus shared about their ministry in Andhra Pradesh and about their past and present experiences at NLC. Rev. Samuel Krupakar was appointed The President of NLC Alumni Association in Andhra Pradesh and given a certificate of Appointment. It ended with prayer and a delicious fellowship meal.
More than 1000 people from various states of India and the neighboring countries were trained and sent into the mission field to serve the Lord in different capacities as Pastors, evangelists, Missionaries, Mission pioneers, teachers and Musicians. New Life College continues to provide mission-focused theological training to men and women to evangelize the nation and beyond with the Living Gospel of Christ.
