The inauguration began with few refreshing choir performances by Bangalore Conservative Choir, directed by the visiting music Pastor. Mike. The Bell Choir of BC also delighted the audience with their splendid performance. Dr. Richard Williams surprised and challenged the entire NLC community with a fluent recitation of his devotional passage from the Bible.
Rev. Arun Andrews was the special speaker for the inaugural chapel. Drawing from four significant prayers of Old Testament, he explained that prayer is listening to the heart of God. He pointed out the importance of pursuing God in prayer in the midst of our pressing life's priorities. His insightful as well as practical take on prayer encouraged every one in the NLC community to commit themselves to the serious pursuit of God during their stay at NLC.
The inaugural chapel ended with the distribution of specially-ordered Honey Cakes. 65 new students, enrolled in our B.Th and M.Div programs. Total number of students this year is 151. Pray with us that our Lord would grant us a remarkable year ahead.
